On the island, Sukuhikona no Mikoto and Omi Taka no Mikoto are enshrined, and the Empress offers her treasures as an offering in gratitude for their help. Afterwards, the Empress's grandson, Emperor Nintoku, was hunted on Tomogashima. You will hear how the Empress was caught in a storm on the island. Therefore, thinking that the island would be inconvenient, he moved the shrine to Kada on the opposite shore and built a shrine. This is said to be the origin of Kada Awashima Shrine.
